Sometimes I feel moderately intelligent. Other times I have to sing the "ABCs" in my head to remember which letter comes next.

Reflections
I think everyone has a purpose in this world. Many times i've wished that mine were something more straightforward: to make people happy through song or dance or acting. Well it's quite clear i didn't get any of those talents. But i can talk. I can write. I can wonder and i can share. It's not much but hopefully my little corner of the internet gives people a bit of joy.
Sometimes, when the future frightens me, I look back at the past--and the past before that--and I see that, whatever happens, I will always be much better off in the future I'm scared of than in the past I left behind.

Eventually,my 21 grams will be abstracted, and I will either be a pile of ashes in a blue and white antique jar or maggots will have feastdays masticating on what they blindly loved or blatantly hated.
Sardonic how all of us end up as loam and fertilizer when we try too hard living life being sterile. When i cross the line, I will be raising my middle finger with a grin. (",)
We live only once yet we die a hundred deaths... for every tear,for every odium, and every hypocrisy. For every death is a chance to be born again, to rise above the ashes like a mythical phoenix.
There is nothing mythical about the potency of the human spirit.
